Amanda Longie, Keynote Speaker
We are excited to introduce our keynote speaker for Summer Institute 2026 – Amanda Longie, MA, LADC. Amanda Longie is an Assistant Professor and Addictions Program Coordinator at Bemidji State University. A licensed alcohol and drug counselor and mental health professional, she brings extensive experience supporting individuals with co-occurring disorders. Her career began in the U.S. Air Force as an intelligence analyst before transitioning to behavioral health, serving veterans, justice-involved individuals, and survivors of domestic violence in Arizona and Minnesota. Guided by a humanistic, person-centered philosophy rooted in empathy and cultural humility, Amanda is passionate about mentoring future helping professionals.
