CEU Policy
This policy is in accordance with the overall CEU policies of the Minnesota Adult Education professional development (PD) system, as of January 2025. Rare exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Summer Institute Conference
Our annual Summer Institute has CEUs embedded in the conference evaluation for that event; they are downloadable from the confirmation page after submitting the feedback form. CEU certificates are only available through filling out the online evaluation, which will remain open for a period of 3 weeks after the event. After that time, these CEUs are not available to participants and replacements will not be provided. IMPORTANT: It is the practitioner’s responsibility to collect and manage their own CEUs for relicensure.
Specific Sessions
Literacy Action Network is not able to provide session-specific CEUs for sessions that are part of larger events. Educators are encouraged to save the event program (and their registration confirmation, if they wish) for inclusion with the materials they submit for relicensure, with the sessions they attended indicated on the flyer. Schedules are available on our website and/or Sched (for virtual conferences).
Recorded Sessions for Virtual Conferences
LAN offers CEUs for watching a previously recorded training session from Summer Institute. These are available on the MN PD YouTube channel. This allows participants to earn CEUs at their convenience, providing flexibility for those who were unable to attend the live event or wish to revisit the content.
To receive CEUs for a recorded session from a virtual Summer Institute, one must:
- View the full recorded session.
- Complete the CEU form on our website.
Once these steps are completed, a certificate of completion will be issued via email from [email protected], reflecting the number of CEUs earned for the recorded session.
