2026 T-Shirt Design Contest: Resilience

We’re excited to invite you to be part of Literacy Action Network in a creative way! This year, we’re hosting a T-shirt Design Contest inspired by our theme: Resilience – to pair with our conference theme, Resilient in the Challenge. Whether that means growth, strength, community, or persistence to you—we can’t wait to see how you bring it to life.

What to Keep in Mind: We’re looking for original artwork (no copyrighted images or AI-generated designs) that includes the Literacy Action Network (LAN) name or the organization’s logo (folder available here). To keep printing costs down—and make it easier to reuse the design—please stick to 1–3 colors if possible. Designs can be created on a white or transparent background.

Your final design should be 3600 x 3600 pixels (12 x 12 inches at 300 DPI). We accept:

  • PNG (preferred, with transparent background)
  • AI or SVG (great for scaling)
  • PDF (high-quality)

Who Can Participate: This contest is open to all LAN members! As long as you’re a current member at the time you submit (including if you join or renew by June 5, 2026), you’re good to go.

Important Dates:

  • Submissions open: May 1, 2026
  • Deadline to enter: June 5, 2026
  • Winner selected by the Board: June 8, 2026
  • Winner announced at Summer Institute 2026: August 13, 2026

Design Use & Permission: By submitting a design, you confirm it is your original work and does not use anyone else’s content. If your design is selected as the winner, you give Literacy Action Network full permission to use, copy, share, and print your design on any materials (like t-shirts, buttons, marketing, or online) for any purpose, forever, without needing additional permission or payment beyond the t-shirt competition. By entering, you agree to these terms.

How to Enter: Just email your design to Wendy Lindblom at [email protected] and include:

  • Your name
  • Your email – with a subject line: T-shirt Design Entry – First and Last Name
  • Your design file (as an attachment)
  • An optional short description of your design

This is a fun opportunity to share your creativity and help represent our community of Adult Education at Summer Institute 2026. We’re really looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
