Minnesota Nonprofit Legal Aid Providers

Nonprofit organizations across Minnesota provide free or low-cost immigration legal services to eligible residents, including asylum seekers, detainees, refugees, and low-income families. Groups such as Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, The Advocates for Human Rights, Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, International Institute of Minnesota, Arrive Ministries, and Volunteer Lawyers Network assist with cases ranging from deportation defense and humanitarian visas to citizenship, green card services, and broader civil legal matters.

Rights and Protections Hub: Protecting Campus Community Members

Collection of resources for teachers and administrators discussing school policies re: release of immigrant student data and what to do if immigration officers come to campus. Focused on higher ed but general ideas can be applied to ABE programs also.
